Dr. David Chacon graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Psychology and Minor in Chemistry. He then attended Northwestern University in Chicago where he earned his D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) and afterward was commissioned into the United States Navy. In 1998 he graduated from a 1-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) and in 2003 he graduated from another 1-year residency in Advanced Clinical Practice in General Dentistry (ACP). During his time in the Navy, he completed 6 deployments and 7 operational tours. In 2015 he put on the rank of Captain (O6). He is retired after 28 years of honorable service.
