Horacio Lucero, DDS

Dr. Horacio Lucero graduated from Bastrop High School, and Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then attended Northwestern University in Chicago where he earned his D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) and afterward was commissioned into the United States Navy. Stationed in California as a Lieutenant, he returned to Texas to finish out his active military duty at the Naval base in Kingsville, TX as Division Officer of the Naval Clinic. He has completed 4 years of Navy Reserve duty as an LCDR.

PAM - DENTAL HYGIENIST

Pam Oppelt has been a dental hygienist for 28 years. She graduated from the University of Texas dental school in 1988. Pam has been a part of the Mission Hill Dental team, off and on, for 15 years. Her area of expertise is focused on “thorough patient care” and patients with gum disease.

She believes in quality dentistry that is demonstrated at our Mission Hill Dental office. She enjoys being part of a dental team that is on the cutting-edge of dentistry. Pam was voted New Braunfels Herald Zeitung “Best Registered Dental Hygienist” for 2 years. She loves her job and loves taking care of her patients.

Pam has 2 daughters and loves spending time with her family and friends as well as traveling.

STEVE - DENTAL HYGIENIST

Steve Bultje is a graduate of the Dental Hygiene Program at Concorde Career College in San Antonio. While in school, he graduated with honors while serving as a program ambassador. Steve also served in the U.S. Marines, deploying twice to Afghanistan. Steve believes in educating and empowering patients to achieve and maintain a state of health throughout their lifetimes. He is actively involved in the American Dental Hygienists' Association. He is married with two children. Steve enjoys being active, spending time outdoors and enjoying his family.

GIGI - DENTAL HYGIENIST

Gigi Obeck graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1988 as a registered Dental Hygienist and holds a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene.

She absolutely loves what she does and wants every patient to have a truly positive experience at our office. She feels a great sense of satisfaction knowing she can be apart of improving someone’s health, confidence and smile.

She enjoys working out and heading to the beach with her husband every chance she gets. Her family is growing with two sons recently married!
